I started at an early age—we were the largest commission dyers in Europe. Just up the road here from where I am in North Carolina, I’m working with a fabulous yarn dyeing house which is called Package dyeing, which is like dyeing a brick. And of course, in those regions there’s a lot of cotton growing, too.
