My friend, Mike Weinberg, has gotten all in a lather about whether we hire Team Players Or Top Producers. We tend to casually toss around ideas of “good team players,” we need to “collaborate,” we need to “partner.” Teamwork, collaboration, partnering are all meaningless as outcomes.

A players are A players because they do it all, all the time. Found it amusing and it has me wondering if he’s a top-performer/A-Player.
