Welcome to the latest edition of Nimble CRM Tips and Updates! When I think of higher limit message sending, names like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and Active Campaign come to mind. This means, unless there is some Nimble magic in play, that these messages would not be attached to contact records. Are you thinking about a CRM?

Re mystery unsubscribes … We submitted a support request to Nimble asking if there might be reasons for a contact to be unsubscribed from receiving emails when the contact has not done this themselves. We have run into occurrences where Nimble has identified that a contact has more than one email and you do need to select one.
Time flies and I’m guessing that it has been close to 10 years since LinkedIn decided to close its access doors to most third-party applications including Nimble CRM. Shortly thereafter, they did authorize limited access to a few enterprise level CRMs providing that you have the right LinkedIn premium account.
The business card scanner on mobile is back! Turn business cards into Nimble contact records quick and easy! You can now adjust column widths on contact lists. Previously, you would add contacts to a group message from the contact lists. Now when you open up a group message that you wish to send, you can add these people directly from this interface including doing a custom search for contacts. More contacts means more storage. Can a CRM help? Since I represent Nimble CRM, let’s talk about how easy it is to do and I will use a typical B2B sales environment as an example. A process is represented by stages which move this opportunity from the initial contact to the point where they are either not qualified or you are converting this to an actual deal.

We enter uncharted territory Should you decide to utilize Nimble to do email marketing, in all likelihood you will be sending these emails to contacts who are already in your Nimble database. These contacts are probably a mix of customers, prospects, vendors you name it. You are working with your contact records.
We dont know whether or not this person would be a good prospect, so We create a contact record. We place this contact record in our qualification workflow. In this case, we will want to Remove them from the workflow Create a deal record that will be associated with this contact. Events that have been held with this contact.
If your bounce rate exceeds 1%, Nimble may place you in an email marketing quarantine (not sure what this means, but you can out) and Im guessing that you will still be paying for the service during this time. Do not reuse sequences with the same contacts. Contact emails that either bounce or unsubscribe Lets start with this.

Since one size does not fit all, we are now offering three tiers of Nimble CRM training and implementation packages! I havent used CRM for over 25 years because it keeps me better organized, on-track, and better able to build relationships with clients and prospects. Rather, because Nimble CRM does that and more, it makes me money!
I.e. group messages, email sequences, and even one-off emails to an individual contact. My issues with using these 3rd party apps with Nimble was that I had two separate apps and two separate contact databases with a record of regular emails in one, Nimble, and email marketing messages in the other. This is important! It was awesome!
While I have used CRM since the late 80s, all of this is totally new to me. As a Nimble CRM solution partner, I have a fairly extensive contact database. Much of this is driven by the fact that I am using my Nimble contact database vs. an email marketing list that has been built for that specific purpose.
Web forms are configured to create contact records in Nimble. Instead Create the contact record. Conduct a Bing search in their Nimble contact record (Integrations Tab). Take notes while doing this and these to the contact record. Are you thinking about a CRM? You want them to know that you have been there.
Hopefully soon, you will be able to see specific link clicks by individual contacts! Any email that bounces, or unsubscribes, will automatically have this tag added to their contact record. This means, for bounces, if you wanted to, you could now easily export that list as a.csv file and upload it to a service for verification.
Please note – While this article discusses Nimble CRM specifically, contact syncing between any two applications may raise similar concerns. Being able to sync your contacts between Nimble and another source is something that is welcomed by most users. You can create groups of Nimble contacts via the use of tags.
As I am a Solution Partner for Nimble CRM, it only made sense to configure this application to assist me in my record keeping as well as to allow me to stay on top with this program’s suggestions. You can do all of this on paper, a spreadsheet, or even on a document, but if you have a CRM … why? .
Let me say that I have never been a big fan of CRM mobile apps and that has included the offering from Nimble. The other outstanding feature is that your contact records, the prospector widget, the widget in gmail, the widget inside of Nimble, and your mobile apps will all now look and work substantially the same! I love Nimble.

A form of Prospector is baked directly into Nimble CRM and it is very similar to their mobile apps. . LinkedIn and Facebook have closed member data to almost all third-party applications like Nimble CRM.
Nimble CRM is built for salespeople. So, what makes Nimble the salesperson’s CRM? One such area of discomfort for salespeople is data entry and data entry is a key part of contact organization. I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that Nimble or any CRM will maintain itself via thought transference! Sacrilege! ”

Nimble CRM used to offer two-way contact synchronization between Nimble and Gmail or Outlook 365 via a third-party application called PieSync. Well, HubSpot bought PieSync, rolled it into their suite of services, and left the rest of us hanging out to dry. Google or Outlook should be where you manually add contacts.

I had a chat with a gentleman recently who wanted to use Nimble CRM to monitor a contact’s social activity. If the social networks won’t come to my CRM, can my CRM go to them? Prospector will allow you to view, create, or edit any Nimble contact record and can do so from any web page including your social networks.
If you own a business-to-businessservice, lead generation can be a time-consuming task, especially as your clients are business owners themselves. So you build a list of profiles you want to contact, and the AI will then take over and contact these profiles using your email templates. Conclusion.
Also just released is the ability to bulk update fields in contact records. For the longest time you could bulk update things like tags and contact ownership. Now, if you want to change a specific field(s) in selected contact records … no problemo. Read more here. After these are released, I’ll be hitting the “Go” button.

Migrate contacts to specific steps in sequences. If, for any reason, you wish to place a contact in a specific stage of that sequence, now you can. Coming Soon There will be integrations with workflows, web hooks, and web forms allowing you to add contacts to sequences from these, probably this month. Branching, selecting more than just exit successfully or unsuccessfully, is on the roadmap as is the ability to add a contact to a specific step of a sequence.

Additionally, these can be created in both contact and deal records. Events – You are scheduling an event with this contact. These are separate from Contact or Deal tags.
